Books to Inspire Congregational Dialogue

Drawing on personal experience, the author invites Christians to work through tensions about human sexuality in a way that shows God at work, so Christians can be known by their love.

By looking deeply into the conflict over sexuality, the author offers insights that may open doors to deeper understanding and suggest paths toward future reconciliation.

This is a helpful, in-depth dialogue between four theologians, two who affirm and two who reject covenanted same-sex relationships.  Respectful responses to each other’s writing provides a rich diversity of interpretation, also between those who take the same position. The four writers are: William Loader, Megan DeFranza, Wesley Hill and Steven Holmes; the volume is edited by Preston Sprinkle.
